David Dillard-WrightDavid Dillard-Wright, an Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Professor of Religion at the University of South Carolina – Aiken, has not only made remarkable personal and professional strides in his life in overcoming social anxiety…but has also explored the social and emotional similarities between people and animals in his book Ark of the Possible (available on Amazon.com).  In our interview, Wright discusses this work, as well his new release that covers the physiological benefits and various types of meditation in order to overcome anxiety and other diseases. 


Interview with Suzanne Toro

Suzanne ToroSuzanne Toro’s goings and doings have included a slew of remarkable experiences.  Aside from studying with Deepak Chopra and serving as “Creative Visionary” for Apl.De.Ap of Black Eyed Peas, Suzanne is the author of Bare Naked Bliss, a memoir that details her process of healing after a rape, a miscarriage, and other major life struggles.  She is constantly on the go, traveling frequently to other countries for inspiration and perspective. 

Toro is also the creator and organizer behind Bare Naked Dinners, a dining experience that brings people together to learn and connect with one another while sampling gourmet cuisine.  In our interview with Suzanne, we discuss her interactions with Chopra, Apl.De.Ap, the differences between masculinity and femininity and how to explore the opposite without losing one’s self, and why a woman is cheating herself when she uses sexuality as influence.

Big Bald Mike“Big Bald Mike” Crockett has done more living in 30 years than most people do in their entire lives. Known by some as “a mountain of a man,” he has battled drug and alcohol addiction, an eating disorder (topping out at 525 lbs), and overwhelming depression. In 2008 tried to end his life by downing 50 super-strength Vicodin and two bottles of Jameson whiskey.

But he was too strong to die; two days later, he woke up with eyes wide open and a new lust and purpose in his heart. In the months that followed, Mike became a professional wrestler, found and won the heart of his future wife, became vegetarian, and shed countless pounds to become stronger and more agile.

His primary life focus has become to inspire people to find the joy, value, and meaning in their lives, no matter what the circumstances. Learn how in this exceptional interview. As a special treat, Mike also performs a song on guitar that he wrote for a friend dying of brain cancer.
